Contrary to this trend, Techie film maker Kiran Prasad’s new short film “Ennu Swantham Madhumati” comes as a whiff of fresh air that stands out mainly due to its simplicity, clean humor, apt casting and engaging visuals.

Kiran, a passionate film maker who is an IT engineer by profession, in his third directorial venture comes up with a humorous tale that delivers a social message convincingly. Written by Naseer Badarudeen based on a story thread by Sankaran Kutty, this film has the right mix of newbies and experienced hands both on and off the camera.It has got 31000+ viewers in YouTube within a short span of time

Popular Malayalam comedian/Actor Noby Marcose plays the lead role. Bidhu Anand, Sarin and Deepali handle the supporting roles impressively. Edited by Appu Bhattathiri (“Kunjiramayanam” fame), this film boasts of impressive visuals by DOP Rushy Babu. Sidhartha Pradeep composed the background score. Shot in 6D SLR camera within two days, this is a 20 minute guaranteed fun ride for the viewer.

Kiran Prasad’s debut effort “Roll no” 9” handled humor effectively and was a youtube super hit with close to 1.25 lakh views. He followed it up with a socially relevant film “Inganeyum Chilar”, which was much appreciated and went on to win 7 awards in different short film festivals held in different parts of Kerala.
