eWIT dedicates Child Care Hub to Technopark Employees on International Women’s Day

Technoparktoday.com>> eWIT(Empowering Women in IT) in association with Technopark and other socio-cultural Organizations in Technopark celebrated International Women’s Day in Technopark on 8th March 2016.

To encourage blood donations among women, eWIT in association with Tejus(the Blood donation forum in Technopark) conducted Blood donation camp at Park Centre, Technopark from 10AM to 1PM. There was a total of 60 registrations and 27 donations.

In the official inauguration of the celebrations held in the evening at Travancore Hall, Technopark Dr B Sandhya IPS (Additional DGP) dedicated the Child care hub initiated by eWIT to Technopark Employees. Mr Ramnath(CEO, Technopark) felicitated CC hub team. eWIT honored Team Kudubashree who are part of CC Hub and Team Prajyot(Woman Warriors in Tejus) by presenting a memento.

Felicitation message was delivered by Mr Narayan(President, Quest Global). Dr Sandhya officially launched the Self Defence Training Program for Technopark Employees and gave Women’s day message. Ms Chitra Saisekhar(MD, D+H) announced D+H women’s network support to eWIT and handed over their contribution of INR 25000 to Ms Sindhuja Varma(President, eWIT) and Ms Hema Menon(Centre Head, UST Global).

A Demo on Self Defense Training was performed by Team Nirbhaya (Division of Janamaithri, Kerala Police). eWIT has planned to have the Self Defense training in Technopark on regular basis.
