Do you ever wanted to see a real life formula one car? First time in kerala, a real life Formula One ( F1 ) racing car displayed at Technopark Bhavani Atrium by UST Global.A big crowd of techies from different IT companies gathered in to the scene and everyone were really excited to see a Formula One racing car for the first time in front of them! Thousands of snaps were taken in the 10 minute display of the formula one car in Bhavani Atrium.
This car bought in to Trivandrum as a part of association with UST Global and Virgin Racing. UST Global is the IT service partner of virigin racing.Virgin Racing and UST Global will work in close collaboration leveraging UST’s local technical expertise based in the UK and UST’s large global delivery centers in India. UST Global® will collaborate with Virgin Racing on advanced technical projects to empower Virgin’s performance on the race track. On the cards for 2010 is a customized race management tool that will provide race engineers with a 360 degree trackside perspective of each Grand Prix. This is made possible by integrating information streams from the FIA and FOM with the GPS positioning of the Virgin Racing.
cars plus FOM visual feeds to enable an optimal race strategy. UST Global will also integrate the Wirth Research simulator with the VR-01 Race Car to ensure a constant two-way correlation between both sets of inputs.
Additionally, UST Global will have a strong visual presence within the team. Its distinctive identity will appear on the Virgin Racing VR-01 race car; the race suit and paddock wear of race drivers Timo Glock and Lucas di Grassi, team equipment including the technicians’ laptops, as well as the attire of the race team and pit crew.

UST rocks… without UST many of the folks may not even see a F1 racing car in real life. UST is the best..
UST is a company from kerala got international reach. See Virigin racing selected UST as their IT services partner. making such a relationship is almost impossible for all other IT giants. But a company from kerala did it. It is really proud to say that.
UST is a success story. I personally know many companies who started their operations at the same time or even earlier than the UST. but all of them are in the same stage if you look at them. they are in same building or in the same capacity. but UST’s growth was really exponential.

What is this fuss all about? Before you say I am against UST, let me ask you “why you are all against others?”
I liked this statement too – “This car has no engine inside it! Its only a body! “. If this is correct what is the difference in checking a photo? There is one dummy swift car infront of Indus motors.
Honestly, I would like to support Accentia, FlyTxt etc. who help poor people for their food, education etc. than appreciating gaints (MNCs!) who bring sports cars for the happiness of rich people.
Mind, these words are for those people who rudely commented above and not aginst UST. Yes, UST rocks! I got many friends over there.
Not only FlyTxt or Accentia, every company is doing such CSR activities. Even UST is doing it in a very large scale. I think they have some fans page for their global CSR activities in Facebook.
Abhaya, Athani, And many other organizations were supported by UST global. also UST adopted a couple of schools and they are sponsoring childrens also.
The NowU movement in UST is the most active supporting forum for unprivileged women and children in rural and bay areas of trivandrum.
Still I’m asking what is wrong with the above statement? only UST can do it? they are unique in so many things, which is not common in any of such top companies. Let’s understand our own qualities than praising some others…

What was displayed in Oberon mall was a model. This one is an actual one with out the engine.
so it may be the very first real life F1 car displayed in India…
