Film club invites scripts from techies for feature film

TechnoparkToday.com>> Techies are realizing their dreams of making a feature film.  A film club formed under socio-cultural forum of techies – Prathidhwani -is gearing up to make a feature film. This will be an anthology of five short films. For this, scripts of short films are invited from techies in Technopark and Infopark, Kochi. Maximum duration of each short film will be 30 minutes.

The decision to form a film club was taken by Pratidhwani following grand success of Qisa film festival, which is being conducted every year since 2012. The film club is instrumental in organising various film appreciation classes and screening of classic films at Technopark. The film club has around 100 members.

“Five best scripts will be selected. The script writer can suggest directors for the film. The director must be an employee of Technopark and must have experience in film making. If there is such a suggestion, a brief bio of the director must be submitted at the time of filing the script”, Vinu PV, secretary of the film club said to TechnoparkToday.com.

The script, covered in sealed envelopes, must be send before July 30.

The employees in Infopark can submit scripts to Mridul (9846872053) and those in Technopark can give it with film club secretary, Vinu P V (9495025021)  or film club president, Vishnulal (9961643801). The submitted scripts will only be read by the evaluators and those who want the script back can collect it after the evaluation, which will be done by eminent judging panel constituting members from film industry.
