Stories are going around in Technopark about The Leela building being haunted.
Large companies who were reported to have rented office space there pulled out without citing any specific reasons.
A security guy who was posted in that building talks about those chilly nights when heard cries and spooky sounds.
“Will never ever go thereâ€, his voice was quivering.
The latest addition to the saga being that all the systems got damaged as the electric switch was turned on while a company had just started its operations from there.
Scientists add that if one goes to a haunted place with fear inside, he or she will definitely be influenced by the negative vibrations or rather the ghost.
A few months back people returning home late in the evening from Technopark have reported seeing ghost like apparitions near the Karyavattom campus.
This has been linked to the ‘Hymavathy Pond’ in the campus.
As the stories of one ghost is yet to settle, reports of having a new one has bought chills to the Technopark community.
Techies are waiting for a logical explanation for all such reports so that they can go back home late nights without fear.
I heard this story from a friend, according to him, this is the hot news in the campus now a days.
Good God.. Here comes another ghost story..
I will bet.. This has something to do with ruining the investments into Leela Building.. Techies.. Lets have a late night party in Leela Building.. Cheers !!!

i have worked in leela building for over a year and late sitting/night-outs were very common (even on weekends).
i have never found anything spooky abt that place.
if u try hard enuf u can scare urself even in trivandrum central.
I would say it is very irresponsible from the website owners to publish something which does not have any evidence but will still affect the business prospects of technopark…are u digging your own grave???

I’m working in a company, which is recently moved in to the leela building, we don’t know whether it is Ghost or now, when we swithed on the power, half a dozen of our computers were damaged.
and It is TRUE that strange sounds can be heard at night. and it is even told by the security persons. still we don’t know whether that is some anti social elements, or the ghosts.
why the authorities cannot make more patroling teams within technopark other than the normal securities in companies?
incidents are very true, but the only thing to know is Ghost/humans.
Anyway, after the news came in this site earlier, ( karyavattom road ghost story) The people are well aware about the anti socials in that place. that article was discussed a lot among the technopark communities as well as the karyavattom college people.
After that they put more street lights and deployed more securities there. and even police started patroling there during the nights. and now that road is very safe.
Thats because such articles in this website. anyway this site is doing really good thing to the technopark and its people. thank you so much guys.

No All these are silly romours.I had been working in that building 1 year back and most time late nights…then also i didnt see any ghosts..Yeah its true some sounds are coming..but its not from any ghosts ..its a ‘Marappatti’… I saw it, several times in night…

I m not working in technopark and working in chennai. I really feel pitty on way how educated people are taking things. If you want go and increase the security. Its definitely something from anti-social guys. After all our kerala police is showing a very gud work in kerala rght…so no wonder in such incidents

You may find bottles and syringes and illegal activities at night in some corner in Leela for sure! Just check it out guys!!

I personally has gone to the place wer the ghost hymavathi was sighted that too around 2 am ..the surface of the road was a bit colder than rest..attributed to the marsh surrounding the region..i didnt see any hymavathi there and i dont knw about leela ghost..but i have seen a real life ghost in tejaswini..

I used to walk in and around Nila and Thejaswini at mid nights atleast 50+ times in my 7 years of technopark life. Also used to go through Kariyavattom gate many times.

some theories are like, not every people can watch or experience the ghosty things, or the ghost may not appear to everyone, or you are just lucky to not make an encounter with ghost. simple as that.

yes praveen, there is a theory like that. according to atharvaveda, every human being is born in any one of the three ganams.
1. devaganam
2. Asura ganam
3. Manushya ganam
these ganams are deciding according to the day( malayalam star ) you born. you can get the details of your ganam from any of the panjangam
Those people belongs to devaganam is the superior one, and no such evil forces can affect them. so they are invisible to the people belongs to devaganam.
the other two ganams asura ganam and manushya ganam, are less powerful, and ghosty things will appear and affect them.
This is one of the theories. and there are many such theories exisits. but i dont know whether it is scientifically proved. you can believe or not, all depends on you only

There seems to be one thing right. That is, which ever company starts their operation, does not last long!!! That could be a ghost effect..who knows!!!!
I dont knw about this hymavathi ghost in karyavattom..
but i am sure that ghosts are real..
there are lots of ghost hunters investigating on several paranormal activities.they have got evidence of certain ghost sightings.They took videos and pictures of ghosts and apparitions, and i saw it.
and i am sure that if u see those videos u will also believe them..
and those are not fake videos they are real videos. it have been shown on AXN couple of times named “GHOST ADVENTURES”…

I heared many times about this ghost story is it true? one time i saw in asianet channel also a documentry about the mysterious pond Hymavathi. Am from calicut now working in K.S.A anyway my next vacation at any cost i will visit place & the mysterious pond bcoz i like mystery & misterious things. somebody can help me.

Even in this 21st century, people believe of ghosts, ridiculous…it is the mind set that makes people fear since it has been already heard that way
I prefer ghost stories to even jokes to liven things up. Hope the ghost won’t mind stepping out to adjacent Nila sometimes and damage the computers espl when I’m missing a deadline. 😛
