TechnoparkToday.com(Aug, 2014): This article is to throw light on a heroic act of Dinu Abraham, a software professional working in Techno Park that indeed needs great adulation.
Last Thursday (31st July 2014), when Dinu was on his way back home, he found an injured pregnant lady at an accident site near Kulathoor. The lady was on her way back home on her two wheeler after picking up her child from MGM School. Her scooter skidded and she fell from it when the vehicle going in front of her applied a sudden brake. She started bleeding heavily and went into unconsciousness. When Dinu noticed that nobody came forward to help them out, he sprang into action.
He called the 108 ambulance and accompanied them to the Medical College Hospital, Trivandrum where they were taken to. Since the lady was unconscious, he provided all the necessary help & support till the lady’s family members reached the hospital. The injured lady was immediately subjected to a surgery in order to save the baby which went successful. The mother and the new born baby are in good health.
Dinu had to face a lot of challenges initially since the lady’s relatives and police authorities believed he was the one responsible for the accident. It took quite a bit of convincing for the truth to prevail; one reason why lot of people do not step forward to help the injured in such situations.
Quite often we hear news about how injured people are left unattended leading to unnecessary loss of life. Dinu’s humane touch saved two lives.
