The new edition offers added space, more features, improved quality and more interestingly – A diesel engine variant ( borrowed 1.5-litre i-DTEC engine from the Amaze). while the petrol engine will be the same 1.5-litre i-VTEC engine as before. Honda did not reveal the price details, but reports suggest that the vehicle will carry a price tag ranging between ₹8- ₹11 lakhs.
The new Honda city is far ahead from its competitors in terms of its design ( more dynamic design), it gets some high gloss finish around the dashboard, the easy to read clocks and the use of touch-screen interface for the stereo and air on functioning. it has an armrest and air con vents for the rear passengers. The new City also gets usable and info-rich instrument cluster, keyless push-button start, a sunroof, rear parking camera, electric ORVMs with fold function and conveniently located cup and bottle holders. It also gets ABS and driver and front passenger airbags. It gets 4440mm in length and 1695mm in width in size – the boot space is reasonably big and usable.
Altogether the New Honda City 2014 is more than a family cum executive car.
