TechnoparkToday.Com:: The Indian Institute of Information Technology and Management-Kerala (IIITM-K), the state government’s autonomous institute based in Technopark, has invited applications for M.Sc. and MPhil Programmes. The courses are CUSAT approved.
Admission tests for the courses will be conducted in Thiruvananthapuram, Kottayam, Pathanamthitta, Thodupuzha, Kochi, Palakkad, Perinthalmana, Kozhikode, Kasargode, Chennai, Madurai, Hyderabad, New Delhi, Guwahati, Patna and Kolkata.
IIITM-K offers four MSc specialisations: Cyber Security, which has 40 seats, and 30 seats each for Machine Intelligence, Data Analytics and Geospatial Analytics. The minimum eligibility is 60 per cent aggregate (CGPA 6.5) in any Science/Engineering/Technology bachelor’s degree, with Maths as a mandatory subject.
There are 15 seats each for MPhil in Ecological Informatics and M.Phil in Computer Science. Students with a postgraduate degree in any of the Natural Sciences (Botany, Zoology or Environmental Science) and Physical Science are eligible for the MPhil in Ecological Informatics.
The eligibility for the Computer Science MPhil is MSc, MCA, M. Tech, Computer Science, IT, Electronics/Computation Science/Geo-informatics, with minimum of three papers in Computer Science/IT in the qualifying exam.
Admissions to MPhil will be on the basis of the IIITM-K admission test or equivalent GATE/NET scores.
