In50Hrs :Idea-to-Prototype Event @ Technopark

TechnoparkToday.com>> Sep 22, 2013:  A kickass Idea-to-Prototype event series called ‘In50Hrs’ happening at Digital Brand Group (DBG)  from Oct 11 to 13, 2013, where your brilliant ideas can get converted into awesome products! Being India’s Premier Idea-To-Prototype event, it is considered as the first step in bringing a Startup Idea to life. Developers, designers, and ideasmiths can participate to pitch ideas, form teams, and build functional prototypes – solving real world problems. The prototypes are demonstrated by the team in the Demo Evening to peers and a panel of jury.

It is a space, dedicated for the task for 50 hours (including overnight), some kickass mentors (who still have fresh memories of building that first successful product that they launched), fellow entrepreneurs, coders, designers and product managers – all lending their skills to breathe life into your ideas.

If you are a student, this is a golden opportunity – a weekend to figure if that idea is really worth all that trouble. If you are a coder/designer looking to get involved in some rather challenging, edgy programming work, then here’s an opportunity – and everyone has got 50 hours to make it work.

The event promises to be a lot of fun, networking, serious brainstorming and a great meeting of minds, ideas and of course, startups.

Friday
5:00pm – Participant Check-in at the venue. Registrations Open.

5:30pm – Introduction to In50hrs
6:00pm – In50hrs Bootcamp : The Art of Prototyping – Why, What and How
8:30pm – Participant Networking

9:30pm – Deadline For Idea Submissions.
10:00pm – End of Day One

Saturday
9:30am – Breakfast Served.
10:00am – Pitch Sessions Begin
10:45am – Introduction to Mentors
11:00am – Team Formation
11:30am – Prototyping Build, Kickoff
All Day – Prototype Building

10:00pm – End of Day Two.

Sunday
9:30am – Breakfast Served.
All Day – Hacking / Prototype Building

5:00pm – End of Product Building. Prepare for Presentations
6:00pm – Demo Time. 180 Second Presentation – Only Functional Prototypes, NO PPTs.
8:30pm – Feedback and Wrap up.
