iPhone 5 -A Truly World Phone?

It is reported that the upcoming iPhone 5 will almost certainly be a single phone that supports multiple networks – Both GSM and CDMA networks

This report is released by an annonymous developer, who is one of the most famous application developer, and many of this apps are big hits in appstore.

The first iPhone was a GSM phone released on June 29, 2007 exclusively on the AT&T network in the United States. On February 10, 2011, a CDMA version of the iPhone 4 for Verizon made its debut.

Now that Apple is catering to both carriers (and their respective networks), it makes all the sense in the world for the company to combine support for both CDMA and GSM in a single device.

An Apple-made ‘world phone’ would be great news for consumers, especially those in countries where certain carriers use CDMA (the U.S., India, Japan, Argentina, and more). Travelling abroad with a phone that only supports CDMA

  2. After the time of steve jobs, there is a big challenge for the apple for the leadership and the charisma of their brand name. steve was the icon for the Apple brand, not only because of the brand quality but for the vision as well.

  3. In my opinion i believe the design seems good and i expect it will feel great in hand. The iphone is so simple to utilize its apps as per my experience with the iphone 4.
