IT Delivery Head Opening with RM Education Solutions, Technopark

Requirements: To continuously develop the overall capability of the ESI development teams so that they can deliver projects on time and with quality. • To manage a programme of project deliverables critical to the Group success. • To be the senior point of interface on all project related matters with stakeholders around the world. • People development – develop the capability of the PM’s and their staff, motivate them in the pursuit of RM’s goals • Programme and project delivery – build a productive development machine. • Stakeholder relationships – be a valued senior manager within the group. • Member of the senior management team – valued member of the ESI SMT team. • Wholly responsible for increasing the capability of the RMESI development resource and for recruiting and developing high performing resources which will make RMESI a compelling option for the whole of the RM Group. • Accountable for the choice of processes, working practices and technical environment which underpin successful software delivery. Responsible for achieving and maintaining appropriate International standards. • Responsible for positive outcomes from the both the projects delivered and engagement with a global customer base. Recruitment of Team Leaders and sign off for the recruitment of all development staff; resource optimisation. • Training and Development programme; effective use of the agreed budget. Qualitative assessment of the stakeholder engagement model.

Qualifications & Other details: • An Engineering Graduate (post-graduate qualifications are desirable) with at least 15 years of broad IT experience. • Experience within a wide range of domains will be considered, although prior exposure to a dedicated off-shore development centre of a multinational software company is desired. • Exposure to various technologies (old & new) is required. In depth knowledge of Microsoft products would be advantageous Good understanding of the latest Project Management tools and Process Standards. A strong track record of business contribution within a leadership role. An experienced manager with a history of building and re-building high performing teams. • Proven track record of delivering IT projects, managing risk and driving performance. Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence at all levels. Good grasp of key technologies and their potential to the Group. Enjoys delivering projects and is motivated by working in a Global organisation. A good leader of teams and people. • Career Development This position offers considerable growth opportunity.
