Job Scams Hitting Internet – An Investigation Report!

Job scams are hitting internet now a days than anytime before. hundrads of job aspirants are loosing money, and interestingly scammers are now started operating from india!. The mails seems so convincing and it uses the details of established organizations like Maruti Suzuki to offer fake jobs and State Bank Of India and ICICI banks to deposit scam money.

Last week, one of our editors got a mail – a job offer which claim it is from Maruti Suzuki.

for Rs. 10,200/- ( ten thousand two hundred rupees ) through any [STATE
BANK OF INDIA] OR [ICICI BANK] Branch from your Home City to our Company
accountant name in charges. Account NO, which will be sending to you upon
your response. This is a refundable interview security. Your offer letter
with Air tickets will be sent to your Home Address by courier after
receiving the confirmation of interview security deposited in any of the
STATE BANK OF INDIA OR ICICI BANK . This Company will pay all the

At the first sight itself, we realized that it is a scam, and we decided to investigate more about it. and we replied them

We are in receipt of your email, Be informed that you will be required to make the security deposit payment so that we can be send your offer letter also you need to show the scan copy of the deposit slip and offer letter at the gate in-other to be allowed into the company compound for the interview by our security. You are required to pay the refundable interview security deposit to this below account before 25th of December 2010 in-other to attend the Interview on the 28th of December 2010. As soon as the payment is made, please kindly send us the payment slip through email for confirmation as it will help us facilitate the documents for the ticket and other requirement for the preparation of your interview date.

Be informed that the account given to you is the Senior HRD Account Number that is been used for this recruitment. The reason for that is because such an amount will be refunded back to applicants immediately after the interview and that is the reason we are not using the Company Bank Account. Do ensure it’s a cash payment so that you can send the scan copy of the deposit slip for verification by our account department and also to enable us return it back to you immediately the interview is over.

Reasons of payment : The refundable payment of 10,200 rupees is to make sure that you will be coming for the interview in other for us not to lose in sending you the flight ticket because this company will be responsible for your accommodation and after the interview, your amount will be return to you in cash, the ticket that is to be sent to you is a Two way ticket and even if you are not selected your security deposit will still be return to you.

..and now we’ve got an account number to transfer the money. we decided to investigate further to kow whether this account details are valid. and our inversigatos found that this account number and related details are TRUE, and everyday he is getting many amounts from different accounts across india, This means many people are getting cheated everyday by this scammer.   

An official enquiry can able to reveal every details of this scammer named H.Rocky Singh including his address and contact number and the details of the ATM from where he is withdrawing the scam money etc..We are ready to give whatever details which we collected to the investigating agencies, in case of any request from them.
