This donation is aimed at supporting ongoing rehabilitation activities in the disaster-hit region.

The cheque for Rs 2.1 crore was handed over to Chief Minister Shri Pinarayi Vijayan by Col Sanjeev Nair (Retd), CEO of Technopark, and Shri Susanth Kurunthil, CEO of Infopark and Cyberpark, during a ceremony held at the CM’s Chamber in the Secretariat. The event was also attended by Dr Rathan U Kelkar IAS, Secretary, Electronics & IT, Government of Kerala; Shri Manjit Cherian, CMO of Kerala IT Parks; and Smt Jayanthi L, CFO of Kerala IT Parks.

The fund was raised by Technopark, Infopark, and Cyberpark as a humanitarian gesture from the IT community, aimed at rebuilding the severely affected villages of Chooralmala and Mundakkai in Wayanad.
