Kerala Youths’ AI-Based Santa App Goes Global

TechnoparkToday, Dec 2024: A group of six tech-savvy youths from Kerala has created an AI-powered app, Santa Calling AI, that has gained global popularity, particularly in the US and UK. The app lets users send Christmas greetings and messages in the voice of Santa Claus, captivating both children and adults worldwide.

The team behind the app includes Sidharth N; Richin R Chandran, CEO of Richinnovations Technologies; Muhammad Shanoob, CEO of Inventy International; Vignesh (UI/UX designer); Ajnas N B (developer); and Dheeraj Dileep, a student at CUSAT.

The idea was sparked by Sidharth during the Huddle Global 2024 event, organized by the Kerala Startup Mission (KSUM) from November 28–30 in Kovalam. Within a week, the group brought the concept to life, showcasing how innovation can rapidly turn ideas into impactful solutions.

Since its launch, the app’s website has attracted 3,974 visitors and 9,998 page views in just five days.

KSUM, the Kerala government’s nodal agency for entrepreneurship and incubation, has been instrumental in fostering such innovative projects.
