TechnoparkToday.com>> After forceful stoppage of Technopark Express, Techies receive yet another blow from KSRTC. Without prior notice, KSRTC has stopped its service to Thrippadapuram citing poor number of users.
Hundreds of women employees of technopark staying in hostels and apartments at Thrippadapuram, are forced to walk along the stretch which is notorious for anti social elements.
Ironically, Technopark Express which circulated through the same route was always crowded. KSRTC on the other hand could not attract the same crowd due to its laxity in following a set schedule. The other chain service to Kazhakuttom is still functioning.
A number of cases, where techie commuters got harassed in these area, has been reported in the past. Following the request of Techie community, home minister has ordered for a police patrolling in the area. But, that is not regular. Moreover, it is a deserted area where techies are unlikely to get help if any untoward incidents occur.
Technopark Today requests Technopark authorities, KSRTC, and Prathidhwani to take this up to ensure safe commutation of women techies.
Its as expected. Very soon they may shutdown all the services.
If KSRTC can’t run the service properly, why they shut down the good old tech express bus service which were there for past many years. they were running perfect without any interruptions – they were regular and consistent.
Our systems are like this – they don’t like what others are doing – they will interrupt and invade in to it and spoil. now what happened? techies doesn’t have any transportation system for nearby places.
Authorities and techies should take some immediate actions for this.
