KSWDC organizes Photography contest ‘Her Story’

Technoparktoday.com>> The Kerala State Women’s Development Corporation(KSWDC), has instituted a photography contest. Coined, #HerStory Photography Contest, the competition invites citizens to share photographs that depicting women going about their routine in the city of Thiruvananthapuram.

The photos should reflect the life of women in Thiruvananthapuram. Entries are invited for two categories – SLR Camera & Mobile Camera.

First place winner will receive a cheque of Rs 1,00,000/-. Second place and People Choice winner will receive a cheque of Rs 50,000/- each.

The competition is open to anyone except KSWDC employees and their immediate family members. Photographs that have won any other contests are not eligible. Photos that violate or infringe upon another person’s rights, including but not limited to copyright, are not eligible. Image manipulation means making any material change in the visual content with a software. Resizing the photo with a software to bring out a 3 MB version or lesser will not amount to image manipulation.

The last date to submit photograph is 26/02/2016, before 11.59 pm.
