STX Aprilis is the global leader in holographic high density data storage and holographic photo polymer material, popularly known as the silicon of photonics.
Aprilis is now based in the same building where the historic American company Digital Equipment Corporation (DEC) existed. In a function held at Maynard, Boston, on January 18, 2010, Dr. Ajith Kumar, President and Leading Specialist, Light Logics, Mr. Heonsoo Rhee, CEO and President, STX Aprilis and Dr. David Waldman, Chief Technology Officer and Executive Vice President, STX Aprilis exchanged documents of cooperation. The STX group of companies functions in avenues of shipping, shipbuilding, construction and energy and is a globally leading company with a turnover of over 12 billion.
Light Logics is a holography business initiative of a set of non-resident Indians in USA, UK, Japan and the UAE, spearheaded by Dr. Ajith Kumar, a scientist turned entrepreneur.
