Master of ‘doodle-bombs’ at Toonz Academy

Animation India isorganizing a workshop by Oscar award winning Australian animator Bruce Petty, on 25^th September 2012 at Technopark. The workshop session will start from 8.30 -1pm and will cover various aspects of Cartooning and Animation film-making. Some of the topics to be included in the session are various styles of humor, Challenges to animation in the current digital age, special skills sets required for animators, and Animation’s role in the analysis of current issues.

Bruce Petty animated film Leisure won the Oscar for Best Animated Short Film at the 1976 Academy Awards. Bruce Petty has also made a number of other award-winning animated films including “Art”, “Australian History”, “Hearts and Minds” and “Karl Marx”.
