Techie Cracks Civil Service Examination

Technoparktoday.com>>  Saju Vaheed, an employee of Technopark made his dream come true when he won the 429^th rank in Civil Service Examination 2014.

Saju (29) completed his graduation in Bio-medical Engineering at Model Engg. College, Ernakulam and started his career as an IT Professional in Wipro and currently working as Technical lead(Networking) in Accel Frontline, Technopark for the past 5 years.

He was admired by his father’s words ‘get some job profile out of your education and never target for money’ and that motivated him, thus reached his destination ‘Civil Service Officer’. His wife Mrs Thasni was very supportive during the entire journey though he spent very less time with his family. Saju was keen in preparing for examinations throughout the year and he was held up with sole preparation after the first attempt.

Saju’s Civil Service exam preparation started from his college days, he used to get his profile switched accordingly and showed willingness to learn new languages & make the communication perfect. Also he surfs internet & newspaper to gather more general knowledge.

As a techie, he faced some difficulties since he had equal responsibilities for work, family & exam preparations. He used to prepare during late evening hours, once he is back from office.  Still his company was so flexible and granted him enough days leave during exams.  Sometimes colleagues may not even intimate the work pressure on to him.

Saju is now instructor of optional subject Geography in various institutions including Kareems, Fortune, Civil Service Academy Pala. With his new profile, he wants to make poor & needy people happy using law & order. Also he wishes to be one among the common people.

His advice for the techies who are interested or appearing for such competitive exam is “Concentrate and completely be dedicated on those exams, after the first attempt you will come to understand your ability and can decide whether to move forward”.
