MobME wins NASSCOM award

MobME – A technopark based mobile value added service company has won NASSCOM innovation award for 2011. MobME won the award under the category, Market Facing Innovation, for its implementation of the m Governance Service Delivery Platform (mSDP) for Kerala State IT Mission, India’s first m-governance project. MobME is one of the eight companies that won this recognition from among the shortlisted 20 finalists.

 
Mr.Sanjay Vijayakumar, co-founder and CEO, MobME, received the award from Minister for Commerce and Industry Anand Sharma at the recently concluded NASSCOM India Leadership Forum (NILF)-2011 in Delhi.

MobME and the other seven winners were selected from over 300 nominations from 190 organisations, spread across the country in four categories namely New Technology Advancement, Market Facing Innovation, Process Innovation and Start-up Category.

The panel of judges comprising industry luminaries, academicians and analysts shortlisted the finalists based on the innovation of technology, scalability of the model and the number of patents filed by the applicant company
