TechnoparkToday.com(Aug, 2015): Its often said that music and art transcends space and borders. The union of these artists is one fine example. Gopi Nair and Rajesh Raman are techies who have carried the spirit of their motherland across borders. Both work with global investment banking giants in London.
A passionate singer and composer, Rajesh hails from Thrissur. He has won the Best Singer Award at Asianet Europe Talent Hunt 2011. He is a founder member of www.eenam.com, a website promoting free authentic Malayalam songs. Gopi is an upcoming lyricist and has a number of songs to his credit in the world of light music. He is a local boy from Thiruvananthapuram. Employees of Technopark might recognise him by the words he had penned for the theme song of Natana. Naveen S, from Pandalam, is a performing Carnatic classical musician. He is an A.I.R/ Doordarshan ‘A’ Grade Vocalist, Audio Designer and keyboard Programmer.
This song was conceived by Gopi while he was in Chennai on deputation. Rajesh, who was in London at the time, composed it and handed over to Naveen for orchestration. The whole coordination was done over the internet via whatsapp and email. A true reflection of the digital age we live in. Their effort is out there for us to enjoy this Onam.
