TECHNOPARK, TRIVANDRUM: Â The fine arts club of Technopark, NATANA organized its first resource meet today to bring together more than 200 members of its resource pool at Travancore Hall, Park Centre, Technopark. In an event that was filled with zest and enthusiasm, Mr. Mervin Alexander CEO Technopark, welcomed the gathering and commented on the need for such initiatives in providing a stress free work environment for the IT professionals. He also mentioned that this could be a model initiative that could be followed by the rest of the Technology Parks in the country.
 Mr. V K Mathews who is the president of GTech and CEO of IBS Software solutions shared the vision of the club with the citizens of NATANA.The gathering got a glitter by the presence of Shyama Prasad, Film Director and Creative Head of Amritha Television and Bina Paul Venugopal , Art Director, IFFK.
 While inaugurating the club, Shyama Prasad and Bina Paul spoke on the importance of engaging professionals in the pursuit of arts. “Art is seen as an end in itself. Other than fulfilling your dreams it helps in personal and community development,†said Shyamaprasad. He also urged the Technopark community to take NATANA towards perfection so that it can be a sustainable professional club for aspiring creative talents.†Bina Paul added that “NATANA would help bridge the gap between the modern Trivandrum which consists of the young techie crowd and the traditional Trivandrum that already has its rich heritage of cultural expressions and exchanges in place.â€
Earlier Mervin Alexander, CEO Technopark welcomed the gathering comprising of techies from various Technopark companies. Later V.K Mathews, CEO of IBS shared the vision of NATANA and Anoop Ambika, Secretary, GTech & Managing Director; Kreara Solutions shared the future plans and prospects for NATANA.
Initiatives that could enhance the artistic and cultural aspirations of the employees of different companies were formulated in this meeting. The employees took the opportunity to interact with the personalities on their experiences in film industry.
 The meeting is conducted as a forerunner of the grand launch which will have performances by the aspiring artists from this talent pool and also by professionals.
