National Award-Winning ‘Byari’ to be Screened at Technopark

Prathidhwani, a cultural organization of Technopark employees conducting screening of the national award winning movie ‘Byari’on 26th April, Thursday 5:30PM at park centre.  The screening will also include an exclusive open forum with the movie director, Mr. Suveeran.

 

The film depicts the culture, tradition and language of the ‘Byari’ community and shared the national award for best film with Marathi film “Deool” by Umesh Kulkarni at the 59th National awards announced on March 7, 2012.

 

Prathidwhani is a group of techies with social values.  It is a three dimensional organization with a vision to contribute to cultural, technical and social aspects of the society. The technical group has the apparition to share the knowledge to the society.   ‘Jyothis’, the charity wing of Prathidwhani, has been a solace for many, a helping hand for the needy, financially and spiritually.

  4. This is a wonderful starting. There a number of organizations here, but I think “PrathiDhwani” is the first for the employees. My hearty congratulations to the members of this organization who have decided to screen the film “Byari” which has gained popularity due to its script. I would like to know the formalities to be fulfilled to become a member of this organization(PrathiDhwani and Jyothis ).Also is there any registration/tickets for the screening.

    This is a wonderful initiative from the professionals!!! If this has happened long back itself many classic movies like “PakalNakshathrangal”, “City of God” would have reached the limelight.
