Technoparktoday.com>>Kerala Startup Mission, formerly known as Technopark Technology Business Incubator(TBI) conducted a meeting with CEO’s of different IT firms in Technopark and American Professor, Mr Neil Gershenfeld on 13th June ’15 at Vivanta Taj, Trivandrum.
Neil, the director of Center for Bits and Atoms, Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) showcased a presentation on ‘FABLABS’. Also he shared the benefits and Business Improvements of having this small scale workshop.
‘Fablab’ is generally equipped with an array of flexible computer controlled tools that cover several different length scales and materials, an intention of making ‘Almost Anything’. It is considered to be small-scale workshop offering digital fabrication.
Fablab has been already set in IIITM-K, Technopark and intended to extent the implementation in other Organizations/IT Firms. Kerala Startup Mission have planned for similar events in future since these would be the best platform where CEO’s of various firms can interact and come up with Innovative Ideas. Also this turns out to be lending hands for all Startup Companies.
