NeST Team bags the “Best of the Best Award” at QAI’s International Software testing Conference 2012

QAI (www.qaiglobal.com), the world’s leading workforce development and consulting firm announced the much awaited Software Testing Leadership Awards 2012 at the 12th Annual International Software Testing Conference-2012, at a gala awards ceremony held in the Le Meridien Hotel, Bangalore on 6-Dec-12. Mr. Balamurali L , Mr. Pradeep P P , Mr. Rathish M M and Mrs. Samiya Salim from NeST (Network Systems and technologies [p] Ltd) bagged the “Best of the best award” for their paper titled “[BX-D] – Business Component & XML Driven Test Automation framework”.

Ethiraj Alwar, Matthew Houghton, from Nokia Siemens Networks shared the top award for their paper titled Simulated Field Environment – Test Automation & Continuous Regression Testing Framework. The Infosys team was chosen as the first runners-up for their paper and the second runner-up spot was awarded to Robert Bosch team.

This year, the theme of the Conference was Testing Enterprise 3.0 – Reimagining the Business. Building on the theme, STC 2012 focused on building a narrative to piece together the three cornerstones of future business opportunity, growth and continuity in the connected world - Innovation, Convergence, and Adoption

For the awards this year, a record breaking number of 460+ author intent forms from over 150+  organizations were received which is the all-time highest received for any conference conducted in the past 10 years in India. After preliminary screening, 100+ organizations presented papers for the regional rounds, hosted in six cities in India – Bangalore, Chennai, Hyderabad, Mumbai, Pune, and New Delhi. Authors of the top  27 papers were invited to present at the final round of conference.
