Nila Lifts on Strike : Techies struggle to reach workplace

TechnoparkToday.com>> It has been a common incident wherein one out of the four lifts in Nila Building fails to function and Techies need to wait long to reach their work places.

The situation has now become worse, as LIFT No : 1 is down for more than 2 weeks now. Techies said they need to wait for almost 15-20 minutes to get the elevator.

The complaint was diagnosed by Technopark Mechanical Team and identified that there is an issue with a critical component that operates the Lift. Since the spare part is unavailable in Cochin & Chennai, they have to wait till it reaches from Noida. Technopark Officials assures the Lift would be back working in next two days.

“A long waiting queue is often found in NILA ground floor during peak hours for last few days. Sometimes we have to take lunch in our work place thinking of wait time in long queues to get back to my place.” – says Techie Jose.
