Nizhalattam Street film Festival at Manaveeyam Veedhi  from October 7, 2016

TechnoparkToday.com>>  A 3-day street film festival organized by Nizhalattam will be held at Manaveeyam veedhi from October 7.  Competition of short films, documentaries, and music videos will be screened in the festival.  Drama performances and screening of classic movies will be held as part of the festival at Manaveeyam Veedhi.

‘Avalilekkulla dooram’ a documentary on transgenders will be screened on the inaugural day.  Various international documentaries will also be screened in non-competition category.

The valedictory function on October 9 would feature drama by Kanal Samskarika vedi and fusion music.

Director Lenin Rajendran, Sanal Kumar Sasidharan, GS Vijayan, and actor and dubbin artist Manju Vani will attend the inaugual function.

“Around 40 short films, which had already won accolades from different  film festivals would also be screened during the festival.  An exhibition of paintings photos will also be organized on the street.  Team Nizhalattam is inviting all Technopark employees to attend the street film festival which, will be different experience.  ” Ratheesh Rohini, festival director, said to TechnoparkToday.com
