Onam Celebrations – Athappokkalam, Exhibition, Payasam Mela in Technopark

As part of this year’s Onam celebrations, there would an Athappokkalam competition, Onam exhibition including Payasam mela at the Bhavani Atrium on September 01, 2011. These are a part of UST Global’s Seasons Celebrations. It includes Athappokkalam Competition, wherein many teams would prepare floral decorations on varied Onam related themes. Techies will be in traditional Kerala attire – definitely a treat for your eyes!

There will be various exhibition stalls showcasing traditional and authentic Kerala products including Aranmula Kannadi, Nettur Jewellery box, Kathakali Mask, Wooden Crafts & Articles, Ornaments, Balaramapuram hand-looms, Kerala sarees etc. These are certainly an icon of Kerala’s culturescape and could be used as souvenirs and showpieces. Indeed a great opportunity for techies to see and purchase some of the very rarest and authentic products.
