Technopark Gym needs a facelift – Techie raises concern in social media

TechnoparkToday.com>>  The pathetic condition of gym at Technopark club house is becoming a hot discussion in techie community after a lady employee posted pictures of club house gym in Facebook.

“Technopark, the IT hub, the most happening place at least in Trivandrum.  Employees around 50000 professionals in 250 companies or more.  People from all over India and even outside are employed here or frequent this place. People talk about lifestyle improvement, healthcare and fitness and there is no dearth of advice from doctors to workout, exercise and what not.

And for all this, the 50000 people of Technopark has this stinking place called the Club House, which has nothing but broken treadmills 2 of the 4 treadmills have not been working for an year now, dysfunctional machines, worn out carpets, soiled changing rooms, pathetic than most public comfort stations washrooms, broken wires all over the place and many other wonderful facilities.

No power back up for the machines, so that let people be thrown off the machines, if power fails.
How many times do we raise it with authorities?? I am sure it is not the lack of funds, nor the lack of support from the Government.  It is just complacency!!! And yeah, the monthly charges-they are comparable to the Golds Gym or Talwalkars types.  And the service and infrastructure- beyond comparison!!!    Pathetic would be an understatement!! “ Anjana, a technopark employee shares her concern with evident photos.

The club house was previously managed by Technopark club society and has recently taken over by the Technopark authorities.

Meanwhile, Tehchnopark authorities stated that renovation works of the gym is already started and it will be completed in a month or so.  Toilets in the swimming pool area were already renovated.  The floor carpets will be replaced soon.
