September 10th Wednesday, Pivot Systems celebrated the grand festival of Onam with all traditional gaiety.. They prepared a big floral carpet in front of Nila. The floral carpet was made using more than seven varieties of flowers as a symbolic gesture to welcome the emperor Maveli.
Pivot Systems dressed up a Maveli, who welcomed and distributed sweets at the Nila Reception followed by a procession led by Maveli, which was much appreciated by the audience. After noon they had a traditional ‘Onam Sadhya’ where all traditional items were served. Everybody including the guests had a chance to taste the typical Kerala Onam feast. Mahabali arrived during the feast and blessed everybody.
Various sporting events took place in the evening session at the Technopark Club ground. Various unique and innovative games and competitions had been arranged. The highlights of the day included ‘Kalam Adi’, Breaking the Egg, Spoon Race etc. Employees from other parts of India said that it was a unique experience for them.
The Celebration concluded with prize distribution and vote of thanks.
