Polus Software Celebrated Onam in Technopark

TechnoparkToday.com>> Technopark-based Polus Software celebrated Onam in a unique way on the 11^th of September.  Apart from the normal celebration listings which includespookkalam, Uriyadi, Lemon & Spoon,3 Legged Race, Onappattu,PazhamTheettaMatsarametc, we conducted an expo for all techies which was the main attraction of the event.

The event was christened “Onavarnnangal”, where techies did their onam shopping. “Onavarnangal” was the first of its kind inside technopark. There was organic bazar by’ Thanal’, a non-profit organization, onam snacks by ‘Swad’, motor expo by ‘Marikar Motors’, handlooms sarees, Dhothiesetc by ‘Kannan Handlooms’, Balaramapuram, dress materials by ‘Posh’ and ‘Sparkles’ along with participation from ‘Villa Maya’ restaurant, IndusInd bank, Olive Builders, and UdaySamudra Group. The event was a great help for techies who were rushing themselves for the last minute onam shopping as there was nothing they couldn’t get from here. The expo started off with a grand chendamelam which was followed by Onapaattu and thiruvathira.

The best dressed male and female were crowned the prestigious title, “MalayaliManka” & “MalayaliMannan”. There was lot many varieties of payasams which was the hot sold item in the Expo. The Expo also saw techies coming together irrespective of cultural differences making the celebrations a grand success. Polus played a major role in promoting organic products among techies. Event helped in elevating the health consciousness of techies who are now addicted to fast food. Also, the visitors had a great chance to experience traditional Kerala Onam snacks.
