‘Prakruthi’ showcased in Annam Festival ‘15

Technoparktoday.com>> Prakruthi – a voluntary group of techies working towards Green Thoughts and Green Living showcased their achievements and successful experiments in Annam Festival 2015 conducted in Cochin.

Team Prakruthi exhibited the posters carrying its successful stories including Prakruthi Launch, Farm visits, weekly vegetable kit distribution, Launch of their blog ‘Prakrutheeyam’, etc. The working model of Hydroponics attracted the entire crowd to the stall. Prakruthi Volunteers explained the benefits of their new experimental products.

It was a surprising moment for the audience, seeing the positive energy and knowledge of Techies towards Organic Farming. Apart, techies were able to give solutions for the enquiries on Farming brought in by the crowd.

“We feel this is the best platform for Prakruthi to exhibit the food diversity, share ideas and to support Annam Movement in its stride towards good food culture, food sovereignty and food security. Also we are happy to represent the employees of Technopark & Infopark here in this event” – says Mr Biju(Prakruthi Member).

Annam Festival is essentially an event showcasing the rich diversity of food, agriculture and the cultural panorama pertaining to food. The festival is back supported by CISSA(Centre for Innovation in Science & Social Action), Dept. Of Agriculture, Dept of Food & Civil Supplies, Nehru Yuva Kendra Sangathan, Kerala Youth Welfare Board, Navdanya.
