Prakruthi – Laid Foundation in Technopark

TechnoparkToday.com>>Prakruthi – an initiative by ‘Natana’ & ‘Tejus’ in association with Technopark, has kick started their phase-I activities in Technopark. Mr K Prathapan(Director, Kerala State Horticulture Mission) inaugurated the first Training session on Organic Farming.

The first training was conducted on 30^th and 31^st May which was followed by second batch on June 6^th & 7^th. Sessions were taken by renowned agronomists                   Dr.C K Peethambaran (Rtd Director of Research, KAU), Dr.Reghunath(Rtd Professor, Dept. Of Entomology, KAU), Shri.N.Sreekumar(Rtd Asst.Director, Agri Dept), Shri.Sathyan(Rtd Asst.Director, Agri Dept) & Dr.C.Sureshkumar (Pediatrician).

Prakruthi intends to sell Organic food products produced by Technopark Employees during this Onam season. They have all set to distribute seedlings at nominal rates before end of this week in Technopark. Also training sessions on Organic Farming will be held every month as a part of Green thoughts, Green Living.
