Prices May Go Up at Tejaswini Food Court

TechnoparkToday.com>> October 7, 2013:  The food outlets functioning in Tejaswini food court may hike prices as the latest rent and expenses fixed by Technopark authorities are higher compared to last year.   Technopark authorities had terminated contract of previous sub-licensee, Vital Links, by the end of July and decided to directly manage the food court.

The vendors expected Technopark authorities to reduce the rent, and were subsequently planning to reduce prices of food. However, the new rental amount has shocked the vendors, who are planning to approach the authorities demanding a reduction in the amount.

The food court, which has 10 counters and seven kiosks, has been one of the major hangouts of techies.

  1. But what’s the logic? when the technopark took it over from the North Indian food court company, we all believed that the rates would be coming down.

  2. What is dis. Technopark running the food court itself and looting the techies. Only this happen in Kerala. If it was Bangalore or Chennai, they will provide food for cheap prices.

  3. at least within the campus – there should some standard rates for food items. it can be easily implemented.

  4. More pricey!!! The food is already expensive and sub-standard inside Technopark. . We are all forced to use these eateries due to our extended shifts and more money to buy this! 🙁
