Progressive Techies introducing ‘Chekutty’ in Technopark

TechnoparkToday.com>> Chekutty, A mascot of the emerging Kerala, being rebuilt through our solidarity, resilience and beauty of hearts, despite some of the stains and scars that will remain.

Chekutty  has scars. Chekutty has stains. But Chekutty is each one of us who survived the flood At the flood devastated Chennamangalam weaving units,the only option for the weavers were to burn their severely damaged and soiled stock which could’nt be fixed even by dry cleaning . That’s when we stepped in to give it a new lease of life in a form that will also help raise funds greater than the original stock to help these units revive their unique art.

Aproceeds from the sale of Chekutty will be contributed towards livelihood programs of weavers at the cooperative society.  Each Chekutty have Rupees 25/- Cost
