French car maker Renault introduced its mini SUV Renault Duster in India at a price of 7.19 lakhs. Renault Duster will be available in both petrol and diesel. The diesel model will be available for 1.29 lakh more from the basic petrol variant.
Renault Duster comes under the compact SUVs, and will be a challenge for the sports utility vehicle manufacturers Mahindra & Mahindra and Tata Motors. Ford’s EcoSport and Maruti’s indigenous SUV based on the Swift platform are in the queue.
Renault Duster is available with a 1.6-litre petrol engine and two variants of a 1.5-litre diesel engine tuned for high performance or high fuel economy, the Duster will compete directly with SUVs like Mahindra Scorpio and Tata Safari, as also sedans like Hyundai Verna and Volkswagen Vento.

I think the Tata Safari is really going to beat the market in the SUV segment. The Storme looks much bigger & better than the Duster. Also from the house of Tata has to be good. I would prefer to wait for the launch of the New Tata Safari Storme and then take a call. Patience is the key.
The main problem with TATA vehicles are they will be getting old and start
the degrading peformance after one year. it is applicable for all tata vehicles
and even for their latest SUVs. thats why their vehicles are having very
less resale value. so Tata SUVs are not a competetion for the Renault Duster.
WHAT IS MILAGE FOR DIESELDUSTER ??
URGENTELY TELL ME.
I AM GOING TO BOOK MARUTI ERTIGA BUT NOW I AM THINKING ABOUT DUSTER.
I am a satisfied customer of Tata safari. Nobody can beat its 140 BHP, low price tag, and low spare costs! I recommend only Indian model! No guaranty that this will stay in market. What happened to Renault Logon? Why did they quit?
I am a satisfied with the Sales people of Renault Duster at Sprint Cars Pvt. Ltd, Kailash Colony and explained to me vehicle advantage, manufacturing performance, factory details in india. So I excited in this model and booked this vehicle today.
