Report Traffic Violations to Police Thorough Whatsapp

TechnoparkToday.com>> April 2014:  Motor vehicle department and Kerala police introduced a new facility to ensure road safety in the state. Now, public can connect with the police through Whatsapp, to report traffic violations. Rash driving, helmet-less travel, overload of vehicles, traffic jams, suspicious number plates, and use of banned sun films can be reported to the authorities directly through Whatsapp, with relevant photos and videos including the place and time of the incident.

A dedicated officer who is handling the app will forward the image/video to the control room for further action. Public and also use this facility to report unattended road accidents to save lives.
