Save Trees, Save Technopark!, an initiative to enlighten people and save trees Virtus has initiated an activity to collect signatures and form a tree out of this. Just to convey that a combined effort needs to go into saving trees in Technopark. They displayed a flex board of the above mentioned campaign in front of the Gayatri Building and started collecting signature on this flex board from TechnoParkians.
They also plan to display the same in all major facilities in technopark in an effort to collect signatures, after which saplings will be planted at various locations in Technopark.

The need of this hour.. technopark is known as the greenest technopolis in India, and it is loosing that tile because they are cutting trees with out any controls for new buildings, technopark is already filled with enough concrete buildings, and the rest of the places, including the natural ponds and paddy fields like spaces within technopark they are filling those lands and making new buildings for companies.
A wide deforestation is happening in technopark, and nobody is noticing it. thanks for such an initiative.
If technopark needs to accommodate more companies, they have to acquire more spaces, instead of destroying the land and trees…

Technopark was a place with lots of trees and open space once, but now a days they cut down almost all the trees and filled all the ponds there and giving the land to companies to construct big concrete buildings, and most of them are not GREEN and eco friendly.
Technopark is a place without any parks inside to sit and relax, or a good pedestrian way.
