SBT Slashes Loan Interest Rates

>>State Bank of Travancore (SBT) has slashed the interest rates of home, car, and gold loans during the festival season. The festival period offer is effective from October 23 to January 15 next year. The revised interest rates for home loans for any amount will be 10.25 per cent (with a margin of 25 per cent or above) and 10.50 per cent (with a margin of 20 per cent).

Car loans for any amount will be available for 10.25 per cent. The interest rate for gold loans up to Rs 10 lakhs will be 10.25 per cent. During the festival period, the processing charge for loans will stand reduced by 50 per cent. Existing floating rate home loans may be switched over to the festival rate without switchover fee.
