Shades of Silence-a painting exhibition by two deaf artists (Nov 21 -27)

TechnoparkToday.com>> Shades of Silence, a painting exhibition featuring works of two deaf artists will be held in Trivandrum, at Lalithakala academy art gallery from November 21 to 27.  Mohan Varma and R Jayaprakash, speak volumes of their great talent and how they have overcome their disabilities to become state award winners.

This is their first major exhibition.  These artists have walked a path littered with obstacles, but didn’t allow any of them to hold them back. In the end, their art won and shone through the difficulties in their life.

Talking Hands – Creating Conversations, a team of deaf and hearing colleagues in Technopark, is organizing the exhibition.  The team focused in breaking barriers and ensuring equality.   SignTv, their online deaf channel based in Trivandrum, presents news in Indian Sign Language and reaches out to many deaf communities in India.
