Silent Expressions: UST Global hosts Art Exhibition and Sale by Differently Abled Youth

>>California based IT services company UST Global joined hands with the National Institute of Speech and Hearing (NISH) to organize an Art Exhibition at the Bhavani Atrium in Technopark campus, Trivandrum. The exhibition, titled ‘SARANG’, carried a unique display of original art work by the students of NISH’s Bachelor of Fine Arts (Hearing Impaired) course. The differently abled artists showed off their talents on a variety of media such as canvas, paper and wood, apart from metal embossing and fiber glass works.

The exhibition and sale, which was inaugurated by G Vijayaraghavan, was open to the 30,000 odd professionals from all the Technopark-based companies, and saw rich attendance. Alexander Varghese, Country Head and Vice President (Corporate Services), UST Global said, “Our real objective in organizing programs like SARANG is to bring out the hidden talents of the young men and women, thereby increasing their self-confidence and inspiring them towards better employment opportunities. They have the capacity to excel, UST Global is providing them a platform to showcase that to the world.”

This is the third time that UST Global has collaborated with NISH in promoting the artistic talent of the differently abled students. SARANG is part of several noble social development initiatives which the company regularly organizes in different parts of the country, in alignment with UST Global’s mission of Transforming Lives around the world.
