Sri Lankan Delegation visits Technopark for Capacity-Building Program

TechnoparkToday.com>>  June 26, 2014:  A group of 24 senior bureaucrats from Sri Lanka visited Technopark here, India’s largest IT park, as part of capacity building program ‘Performance Management and Leadership Development’.

As part of the two-week program, the team from the island-nation spent a few hours at Technopark to grasp the initiatives of the Kerala government in creating a state of the art IT infrastructure and policy initiatives to develop a vibrant IT industry in the state.

Mr. M Vasudevan, Senior Manager (BD), made a detailed presentation to the delegation and also facilitated a campus tour for the civil servants.

The program has been organized in collaboration with the Sri Lanka Institute of Development Administration (SLIDA) and in partnership with the Institute of Management in Government, Thiruvanathapuram. The Commonwealth Secretariat, London, is extending technical and financial support to the program.

The Sri Lankan participants include Mr.MCL Rodrigo, Secretary, Ministry of Health, Western Province; Mr. MABD Senarath, Additional Surveyor General; Mr. KPBV Silva, Additional Secretary, Ministry of National Heritage; Mr.NHM Chithrananda, Additional Secretary, Ministry of Education; and Mrs. A Sriyani Pamalatha, Deputy Chief Secretary, Provisional Council of Sabarangamuva.
