Summer Sports Camp in Trivandrum

Starting Monday, 6th April 2015, the Directorate of Sports and Youth Affairs, Government of Kerala is organizing an exciting summer camp for kids at the prestigious Jimmy George Indoor Stadium. The camp will help promote the concept of active and healthy living in minds of young children, presented in a fun and entertaining fashion through sports and games.

Does your child spend too much time in front of the TV? Don’t you have enough space at your apartment / house for your children to run around and play? This summer camp has been designed to take care of all these concerns. The camp, designed by community sports and fitness experts, aims to takes care of the holistic development of your child. The program includes a foundation course in physical education along with sports specific training in Badminton, Tennis, Basketball, Table Tennis, Swimming and Martial Arts.

All sporting and training equipment will be provided by the program team at the venues. You need to bring only personal items such as appropriate shoes, towels, refreshments etc.

The program also focuses on developing leadership thinking in the young minds attending the program. There will be sessions focusing on leadership and success in life anchored by eminent industry leaders and IIM graduates with international exposure. The program also includes introduction to High Altitude Simulator and a visit to the new Greenfield International stadium of all participants.
