“Santhwanam Idli” coming from Central Jail

>>Following the big response to chapatis made by the inmates of Central Prison, Poojappura, the next item is ‘Santhwanam Idli’ prepared at the jail.  The ‘Idli’s will be available through three mobile units that are supplying Chapatis in the city.  A kit of 5 Idlis and curry will cost Just Rs. 20.

Home minister Thiruvanchoor Radhakrishnan inaugurated the commercial Idili production in Poojappura special sub-jail on Wednesday.  The unit has a capacity of making 600 Idlis in a minute.
