Talking Hands – Creating conversations team Observing World Disability Day in Technopark

TechnoparkToday.com>>  December 3rd is the International Day of Persons with Disabilities, an event to promote awareness and mobilize support for critical issues relating to the inclusion of persons with disabilities in society and development. The Day works to promote action to raise awareness about disability issues and draw attention to the benefits of an inclusive and accessible society for all.

In Technopark, we have a growing number of special listeners with close to 35 deaf employees which itself is very motivating and inspiring and promoting empowerment of the persons with disabilities needs to be showcased and promoted.

December 3rd is going to be the day Talking Hands – Creating Conversations is planned to build more awareness, educate the public about the Deaf, their culture and about their language. There is going to be a lot of visual awareness programs like  videos, posters and banners which will be displayed in the venue.

There will be a sessions where basic sign language will be taught and Quiz by the deaf will be conducted.

The program will be conducted by the deaf employees various Technopark Companies. Technopark CEO Gireesh and Samuel N Mathew Executive Director of  NISH, will be the chief guests of the event.
