Techie Talents : Meet the all-rounder Praveen Thankappan

Apart from possessing technical and niche skill sets, there are quite a few blessed souls in this IT community who demand our curiosity and admiration simply because of their extraordinary drive to remain attached to their passions. We are introducing someone, who has been showered with a multitude of talents.

Dr. Praveen Thankappan, a Technopark employee, who was named the ‘Kalaprathibha’ twice by his university during his college days. He is a national level badminton player, a skillful painter, a celebrated musician with skills ranging from vocals to the rarest of instruments, a fantastic dancer and a stand-up mimicry artist.

He made his debut as an independent music director through the 2016 Malayalam movie – ‘Malgudi Days’. His work was well received and was appreciated by critics and masses alike. The album was listed among the annual top 20 compiled by leading FM networks and channels.

The icing on top of his abilities is the humble way in which he conducts himself.  Praveen and his wife Dr. Manjula, settled in Trivandrum with their kids Yuvan and Pawan.
