>>Techies are enjoying the rare opportunity to pose with an F1 racing car. Â A Forumula 1 racing car, which participated at the Formula One Grand Prix held in Delhi in October, was displayed in front of Nila. Â This Formula Ford 1600cc car is sponsored by the Muthoot Pappachan Group. Techies posed as Fernando Alonso and other bigwigs in the racing fields as the Muthoot Pappachan Group arranged a photographer too.
This display was also arranged in front of Tejaswini last week. “It was an amazing experience for a die-hard formula 1 fan like me. Â My Facebook profile was flooded with comments and likes when I posted this photo,” said Arun Raju, a Technopark employee.
Its a unique chance for technoparkians to see and pose with the racing car.
Another International F1 car model is with UST, in their 5th floor, bhavani. but not accessible to public.
The above article is absolutely ridiculous. The car on display was not an F1 car. A team called ‘Formula Ford ‘ does not exist in F-1. The cars in F-1 have all the controls except brake and throttle on the steering wheel but this car did not have any control and its steering wheel was made of wood, i believe. Such a car existed in F-1 decades ago only.
This car seems smaller than the actual F1 racing car.
