Techies High on Football Fever

TechnoparkToday.com>> May 28, 2013:  “Step over, overlap, bicycle kick” – don’t be surprised if you keep hearing these words around the coffee machines and water coolers in your office.  The football fever is catching on as we progress to the knockout stages of Corporate Futsal Challenge 2013.

“With 281 goals scored across 48 matches, the group stages have been an extremely entertaining affair” – says Anoop Ashok from Sportz4you, the tournament organizers.  The grand finale of the tournament is scheduled on May 30, 2013 at 6 p.m.

Setting a new trend, the tournament has witnessed active engagement from the fairer sex as well – with 13 ladies teams registering for the Penalty Shootout Challenge.

Exciting prizes await the winners of both the ladies’ and men’s tournaments.

• Corporate Futsal Challenge (Men):   1st prize: 10 x couple passes for a 1N / 2D vacation package including a day long House boat cruise and DJ Nite sponsored by All Seasons Resorts, Kollam.    2nd prize: 10 x single passes for a 1N / 2D vacation package sponsored by Poovar Island Resorts, Trivandrum.
• Penalty Shootout Challenge (Ladies):  1st prize: 5 x couple passes for a a day long House boat cruise sponsored by All Seasons Resorts, Kollam.
