Techies of Technopark hosted a Silent protest against Jallikattu Ban

TechnoparkToday.com>> In order to express their resistance towards ban of Jallikattu in TamilNadu, techies working in Technopark Trivandrum assembled near Main Gate and conducted a silent protest on 20th Feb ‘17.

Several slogans to bring back Jallikattu were displayed on placards. The protestors included general public and Techies in Trivandrum who support the sport ‘Jallikattu’. This protest was in support for the people who have been protesting for days in Chennai and other parts of Tamil Nadu. The information about the protest was communicated via social media websites and messengers.

Approximately 300 techies participated in the protest. Techie Rithesh said “It is a protest for our tradition. Jallikattu Ban may lead to losing the best breed of South Indian Bulls and in turn common public would be forced to consume A1 milk, which is prone to many diseases including diabetes”
