TechnoparkToday.com>> The Technopark club house is gearing up for a renovation phase with adding news facilities like multiplex and beer/wine parlor.
The tender invited by Technopark authority required the facilities such as two-screen multiplex with a minimum seating capacity of 200, an executive lounge to entertain clients with food and drinks over business meetings, discussion rooms with facilities for multimedia presentation, a food court capable of satisfying varying tastes of the cosmopolitan populace, renovation of swimming pool, gymnasium and indoor games center as minimum requirements from the bidders.
Wish list part of the tender includes a wine/beer parlor or a bar, this will be subject to the availability of licence. A kids play area and at least two additional badminton courts, the present ones being overcrowded, are other items in the wish list.
Carnival group, which has recently purchased a number of multiplexes of reliance across the country, is a major bidder for the renovation of the club house.
This is a very much needed facility in a place, where most of the youth are working. Earlier there were a beer parlour within technopark club, but that got closed by some external influences, if I say exactly, when the new BAR came nearby Technopark.
That new BAR wanted techies to go to their BAR – not the one in club. But the beer parlour in Club was good in terms of food and the ambience, and the class of crowd came there ( Remember: there are no access for external people other than technopark employees).
